Meditation 101

More is not necessarily better…
Bigger is not necessarily better…
Louder, faster, brighter, busier is not necessarily better.

Try exploring the opposite of these ideas by simply (it’s not as easy as you think) closing your eyes, sitting comfortably and focusing on your breathing. Breathe slowly in for a count of 4 and breathe out slowly for a count of 5. Maybe you can do it for 5 minutes, maybe less. If thoughts are crowding your mind, say hello to them and then let them pass on like clouds in the sky. Clouds move along without you helping, your thoughts can too. If your mind drifts, just refocus on your breath.
